Trust

The HIRA Charitable Trust was founded and registered in 1988 and has done a lot of work to facilitate all kind of education, to the members of the general public.  One of the main objectives of the trust was to boost its presence in the academic arena and enlighten and influence the educational zones and to coordinate various activities of exalted personalities who had already carved a niche in the research areas related to Languages and Social Sciences.  The trust tried to bring such personalities / academic endeavors under one roof for advanced studies / research. 

The trust took a keen interest to setup a distinctive and comprehensive library on which the research scholars could rely.  Formerly the venture was named as Vidya Sadanam Academy of Advanced Studies, which was later on renamed as Al furqan Academy of Advanced Studies.

It conducted seminars, dialogues / discussions with active participation of scholars of different disciplines, eminent intellectuals and socio-cultural leaders.
