Higher Secondary

At this level, Al-Furqan English Higher Secondary School nourishes our students into responsible young adults with traits of developed competencies.  The curriculum supports this goal of nurturing higher level of life skills and we have a special program called Skill Orientation and Acquisition Programme to help our children develop the required skills for adulthood. We help our children find their inherent potential through self-awareness.  We teach them to achieve their life goals by teaching them critical and creative thinking and empathy and love for others.

Children at Al-Furqan are trained to make choices about their career, are taught to communicate effectively with and without technology and develop a personality that help them reach their full potential as adults.

At Al-Furqan we have learned to appreciate individual differences in each and every child that comes our way and our aim is to motivate them to be lifelong learners.

In brief, the senior secondary curriculum seeks to facilitate our students’ spiritual, ethical, social, cognitive, mental and physical growth and development. It enhances their innate potential to choose their career goals besides empowering them to meet the demands of the changing society. Above all the learners become civilized citizens upholding constitutional values.

At Al-Furqan we teach both commerce and humanities streams at the senior secondary level with smart and digital classrooms.

Professional commerce consists  of the following subjects: Business studies, computerized accounting, Computer application and Accounting  along with English and a second language.

Humanities consists  of the following subjects:  Economics, Politics, History and Sociology along with English and a second language.

Second Language:  Malayalam and Arabic.
