Lower Primary

At Al-Furqan English Higher Secondary School Lower Primary means we give great importance to developing multiple skills of our children. Our entire focus is on the child as a learner, and we use a variety of teaching methodologies to develop their skills be it social, emotional, or creative. Children learn and develop through number of formal and informal methods like activities, projects, presentations and hands-on experiences, group discussions, role plays and so on.  We allow and encourage our students to inquiry, explore and help them learn confidence as it is a key ingredient in learning skills. Various club level competitions and house level competitions are regular events to help develop the spirit of healthy competition among our students. Children are given turns to speak and perform at assemblies, school programs and thus gain confidence in their ability to communicate to a wider audience. Special attention is paid to children with special educational needs and we in Al-Furqan English Higher Secondary School believe that every child has the potential to perform at his/her best.

At Al-Furqan we have a continuous and comprehensive assessment program in our school. Our goal is to evaluate every aspect of the child during their tenure at our school. As a part of this program, students are evaluated through a series of curricular and extra-curricular activities.

Our classes are structured in such a way that it encourages and motivates our students to become self-confident, self-reliant and self-disciplined, and thus help them grow into responsible adults.
