In the Al-Furqan Family we have teachers who are a team of fully qualified, passionate professionals who genuinely care for each student and about fulfilling their potential, academically, ethically and personally. They work together to bring out the best in every student, helping them to discover, develop and celebrate their talents. They share in the belief of our ‘not for profit’ ethos where all surplus funds are used to invest in the education of our students and the school’s resources and facilities.
Our standards for teachers are high and we expect them to commit time and energy above and beyond what has perhaps been expected of them at their previous schools. In the classroom, we expect them be able to differentiate their teaching to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. To facilitate this, we ensure they have the resources they require to be effective in their teaching and our favourable teacher to student ratios help to ensure our students successes, whatever their age or ability. Our teachers’ involvement in school life stretches beyond the classroom and all of them give up time after school and at weekends to provide the fantastic range of opportunities, excursions and activities for our students.
Message from the Chairman
Al-Furqan English Higher Secondary School the brainchild of the HIRA Charitable Trust was started to cater to the needs of drop out students and we are proud to be where we are today after a journey that has been a memorable one.
In the journey called life, the path we take is decided by each one of us. The choice is ours and we determine our destination with the grace of God Almighty. For us, the journey towards excellence is an ongoing one and never ending. It has indeed been a long and enriching journey of more than two decades for us at Al-Furqan English Higher Secondary School, Santhivayal. A journey that began in 1996, with the vision of teaching learning activities to help mould future generations, based on our noble tradition, which is a cohesive force of universal humanity irrespective of religion, caste, colour, class and creed.
The first thing that you will notice when you enter our campus is the warmth and compassion and the twinkle in the eyes of our children. As one goes on to get to know us better, you will realize that we stand for academic excellence and moral values and strive to develop these in a safe, vibrant, and diverse learning environment.
We believe that if everyone is moving together, then reaching excellence will take care of itself, the entire staff of Al-Furqan EHSS, Santhivayal moves with a mission of providing its children with all possible facilities that help them in becoming good and successful human beings.
Our torchbearers are our children and their success is what we are all about. Our alumnus is shining in various fields like medicine, engineering, business, administration, and the like.
We continue our march towards excellence by asking more of ourselves today, tomorrow and in the days that come, each day and every day.
Message from the Principal
A good school imparts academic knowledge and develops positive values of caring, sharing, mercy and discipline. A balanced curriculum which fosters both physical and mental capabilities in the child is essential.
Al-Furqan Santhivayal is not a mere name but a culture cultivated over the past twenty three years under the banner of Hira Charitable Trust illuminating thousands of minds working in diverse spheres. We are dedicated to foster to the educational needs of young Indians for a better nation and a world where harmonious co-existence is possible despite the differences.
Concept based learning and application based knowledge should be within the reach of the common man. At Alfurqan, it is the sacred duty of a teacher to imbibe in the pupils ethical values, bring out latent talents and ensure the development of body, mind and spirit. Students are exposed to the right learning environment under the guidance of qualified and dynamic teachers.
The purpose of education today is to prepare children to deal with all aspects of life. It involves nurturing their character and imbuing it with perseverance and a never-say-die spirit to create the perfect blend of a compassionate social individual and a complete human being.
Our goal is to help all students achieve their academic potential. We strive to offer a broad range of courses in addition to the traditional core subjects.
At Al-Furqan , we envision students who are pressure free in their studies and also committed to take on their well-being which enhances them to be visionaries and achievers. We encourage all our students to persevere, participate and take responsibility for their own development.
None has experienced a compromise with the promises we pronounced sincerely throughout our journey. We long to steadfast in the path of honesty and righteousness with the support of our well wishers for long. The divine blessings we enjoy provide us with immense confidence and courage to drive ahead spreading the light delightfully.

Message from the Secretary
Al-Furqan English Higher Secondary School began with this ideology to nourish and nurture the potential of individuals to achieve excellence. Here our endeavour is to spread the light of education all around. It is our earnest effort to make Al-Furqan English Higher Secondary School a School with a difference and a school missioned to impart excellence in individuals and prepare world class citizens, professionals, leader, bureaucrats and intellectuals. We lay focus on all round development of a child where the child will be physically strong and mentally healthy. Instead of making them contended with what they have learnt, we intensify their desire to excel in everything that they do.
We at Al-Furqan English Higher Secondary School aim at fostering that type of education which can develop our students capability to the fullest potential, strengthen integrated India and peaceful world. The Management, Parents, Students and the Teaching Fraternity of our school are a Team and complement each other’s efforts. We understand that Education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a high profiled job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide and make our students morally upright citizens of the country.
Therefore, we try to create an atmosphere of reverence for education and a healthy environment where academics, sports and co-curricular Facilities mould our students and motivate them to be the brightest and the best. In order to do this, the school works towards inculcating certain values in the students in order to enrich their mind and spirit and also to develop essential moral attributes like truthfulness, courtesy, generosity, compassion, justice, love and trustworthiness in them. The students are taught to study in an atmosphere of love and unity where each student sees himself or herself as a member of one global family, free from the prejudices of ethnicities, nationalities, class and religion dogmas.
